New Engineering & Manufacturing Enhanced System Innovation

NEMESI

NEMESI is a new way of conceiving aeronautical structures and aims to make the Neapolitan sites a true center of excellence for the creation of aeronautical structures for regional aircraft such as the ATR and, in perspective, for various models of narrow-body aircraft , like the Airbus A321. The project is based on new and advanced digitalization and production automation criteria, capable of guaranteeing high process optimization, also generating positive impacts on logistics and supply chain.
NEMESI focuses on three main initiatives: 3D design, i.e. creation of a complete digital mock-up of the fuselage, automation of the assembly line and digitalisation of the entire industrial process.
