Training of multi-skilled engineers in mechanical and industrial engineering. Specialist fields: construction, electric and electronic power systems, materials and composite structures. Multidisciplinary research with industrial partners on the general theme of multi- scale integrated design: controlling interactions of complex phenomena in product design and its resistance to wear; system autonomy with respect to different decision levels applied to it. ENIT is overseeing two major development projects: PRIMES, as a continuation of the PEARL Laboratory and the CRCCT (Centre de Ressources et de Compétences Composites-Tarbes.) composite materials resource centre in Tarbes.
