Defontaine is a European leader in flash welding of aeronautical rings in stainless steel, titanium, nickel base and cobalt base. The objectives of the project are on the one hand to put the forge online to improve operator safety, reduce energy consumption and increase productivity, and on the other hand to modernize and digitalize an industrial welder in order to increase the section to be welded, while accompanying the modernization of the forge by modernizing the machining tool.
