Clean Aviation Pitch-Athlon - Present your competences

Calling All Aviation Innovators: Be Part of the Clean Aviation Pitch-Athlon!

The Clean Aviation Call 3 was officially announced. This call, which will formally open in February 2025, focuses on three major themes:

  • Aircraft Concept Integration & Impact Assessment (ACI&I): €15M

  • Ultra-efficient Short-Medium Range (SMR) aircraft architectures: €205M

  • Ultra-efficient Regional (REG) aircraft architectures: €145M

Additionally, a budget of €15M will be allocated to a new project type called Fast Track Area (FTA), aimed at supporting Phase 2 demonstrations of Clean Aviation. FTA projects will focus on de-risking alternative or complementary solutions to accelerate the implementation of SMR and REG demonstrators while broadening the range of expertise.

Universities, research centers, and SMEs are particularly encouraged to participate in these FTAs, with an emphasis on solutions addressing the most pressing challenges in decarbonizing the aviation sector.

To prepare for the official launch of the call, Clean Aviation is mobilizing the aeronautical ecosystem by organizing a Pitch-Athlon on February 13, 2025, where entities interested in a Call 3 topic can promote their project ideas and/or competences.

Please note, while this pitch session is open to everyone, it is subject to evaluation. Applications for pitches have been open recently with a submission deadline of January 15, 2025. Selected pitches will be announced by January 30, 2025.
