Located on the Spanish border, UPPA stands out for its multidisciplinary nature and its multi-site structure with a strong insertion in the regional socio-economic and cultural fabric. UPPA is the winner of the ISITE label for its E2S-UPPA “Energy and Environment Solutions” project. This label is part of the future investments and places UPPA among the 15 university sites of excellence at the national level. The 19 research units including 10 mixed units (CNRS, Inria, INRAe and TOTAL) develop their activities around different themes in chemistry, physics, mathematics, computer science, industrial technologies which allow UPPA a sustained involvement in many projects of the AESE cluster and particularly in the fields of advanced materials, training and scientific visualization, maintenance or even embedded systems.

Située à la frontière espagnole, l’UPPA se distingue par son caractère pluridisciplinaire et sa structure multi-site avec une forte insertion dans le tissu socio-économique et culturel régional. L’UPPA est lauréate du label ISITE pour son projet E2S-UPPA «Energy and Environment Solutions». Ce label s’inscrit dans le cadre des investissements d’avenir et place l’UPPA parmi les 15 sites universitaires d’excellence au niveau national.
