La ville d’Albi gère l’aérodrome d’Albi - Le Séquestre depuis le 1er janvier 2016. Ouvert à la circulation aérienne publique et utilisé pour le transport aérien (national et international) ainsi que pour la pratique d’activités de loisirs et de tourisme (aviation légère, hélicoptère et montgolfière) il offre en lien avec l’autodrome au cœur duquel il se situe : 2 000 m2 bâtis, 12 000 m2 de parking, 400 000 m2 de terrain. Depuis quelques années, l’aérodrome d’Albi - Le Séquestre accueil des essais d’avions légers et de drones décarbonés grâce entre autres à des dispositifs de recharge électrique et hydrogène.
