Electric Regional Aircraft

ERA

Aura Aero was selected for its 19-seat low-carbon hybrid electric regional aircraft project. Called ERA, the device is due to enter service in 2028.

ERA will be powered by eight electric motors powered by two different energy sources (batteries and turbogenerators running on sustainable aviation fuel) which will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to thermal aircraft in the same category . This new situation will make inter-regional connections profitable again thanks to very low operating costs.
