In order to strengthen the inclusiveness of the sector with a trickle-down of support for R&T, the DGAC/CORAC commissioned GIFAS and set up a specific CORAC-PME resource since 2020, to support SMEs and midcaps in the sector:
- encourage these companies to identify and propose innovation projects
- direct them towards support systems
- support the integration of SMEs-midcaps in CORAC projects as subcontractor / partner / Leader (Synchronize the product offer and the transformation of the industrial tool)
You meet the following conditions:
You are an SME/midcaps already established in France in the aeronautics field, presenting a turnover reflecting your industrial capacity to deliver to the aeronautics market.
You have an R&T service in France
You have an R&T project for product, technology or process maturation, over 24 to 36 months.
Your project can be individual or collaborative, with priority given to collaborative projects.
You have defined a use case in line with the CORAC roadmaps
You are able to carry out R&T work, then industrialize and market the product and/or service developed (TRL 6 and MRL 7 at the end of the project).
You have sufficient equity to co-finance the project.
You do not currently benefit from DGAC/CORAC funds.
The system relies on the GIFAS Referent Poles and Clusters to identify “core target” or Technoprovider companies, with the aim of maturing their R&T project and supporting them towards the appropriate support system.
