SCAIRA 1st Open Call

This Open Call, launched within the framework of the SCAIRA project, aims to select a minimum of 15 entrepreneurial or start-up projects to enter the 1st edition of the SCAIRA program, which will have an estimated duration of 6 months. (Subsequently, the launch of two additional Open Calls is foreseen, which will be linked to respective editions of the SCAIRA Program). The core of the SCAIRA program is made up of a total of 14 services, structured in 3 training modules, expressly designed by the project to be offered to the selected entrepreneurs and start-ups, who will be able to choose a tailored-made training pathway. In addition, each applicant will benefit from individualized mentoring services provided by one of the Business Support Organizations of the project partnership.

The SCAIRA Open Calls and Programme are based on the needs and challenges previously identified and carried by 3 end-users : Airbus Atlantic, Renault Iberia and Horse Aveiro. These needs and challenges, with a focus on rural areas in the aerospace and automotive manufacturing industry related to environmental sustainability, are the result of a thorough analysis carried out by the SCAIRA partnership. Follow-up actions will be carried out to support the entrepreneurs and start-ups after the 6-months of the SCAIRA acceleration Program to remain aligned with the territorial strategic axes and manufacturing challenges identified, and to monitor the impact of the SCAIRA Program in their business development.
