The In-Transit project has launched its second DEVELOP Open Call, offering €1.4 million in funding to support innovative proposals focused on improving processes, products, and developing new circular business models in the textile, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and construction sectors.
The project offers two funding modalities: INNOVATE vouchers, which exclusively finance technical advice, and DEVELOP vouchers, which finance innovative projects that make these sectors more resilient, sustainable, or digital.
Each modality has two calls. Both INNOVATE calls are now closed, but the second (and last) DEVELOP call is currently open, and it is the one we are providing information about.
Key Details of the 2nd DEVELOP Call:
•Objective: To support innovative projects for technical demonstration and integration into production processes, new business models, or the generation of value chains.
•Eligibility: SMEs from the 27 EU Member States in the textile, aerospace, manufacturing, or construction sectors. Participation can be individual or in consortium (maximum 2 SMEs).
•Funding: Up to €49,000 per SME (€98,000 for consortia).
•Additional Support: In addition to funding, the voucher includes 50 hours of training, focused primarily on the development of innovative and sustainable business models.
•Project Duration: Maximum 4 months
•Funding for the call: €1.4M (expected to fund around 29 SMEs)
